Here is the short Documentary on Golden Temple Kitchen. As we all know anyone who enters a Harmandar sahib Gurudwara (Golden Temple Amritsar, Punjab) is offered a blessing of food called “Karah Prashad” and “Langar”. Langar is served at the Golden temple and there remains no difference between rich and poor, superior or inferior, since all eats the same food at the same level. Langar is served in all Gurdwara Sahib around the globe twenty-four hours a day. This gesture symbolizes the equality of humanity. Feeding 60,000 people per day without using paper or styrofoam products means lots of dishes to clean! See how the volunteers at the Golden Temple Community Kitchen harmoniously cleans steel plates, bowls and spoons.
