Read the Gurbani, it says:
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੈ ਸਿਮਰਨਿ ਦੁਖੁ ਨ ਸੰਤਾਪੈ ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਾ ਸਿਮਰਨੁ ਸਾਧ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੈ ਸਿਮਰਨਿ ਰਿਧਿ ਸਿਧਿ ਨਉ ਨਿਧਿ ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੈ ਸਿਮਰਨਿ ਗਿਆਨੁ ਧਿਆਨੁ ਤਤੁ ਬੁਧਿ ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੈ ਸਿਮਰਨਿ ਜਪ ਤਪ ਪੂਜਾ ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੈ ਸਿਮਰਨਿ ਬਿਨਸੈ ਦੂਜਾ ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੈ ਸਿਮਰਨਿ ਤੀਰਥ ਇਸਨਾਨੀ ॥
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੈ ਸਿਮਰਨਿ ਦਰਗਹ ਮਾਨੀ ॥
Achieve 18 worldly desire by Just doing Naam Simran
1. By Remembering and meditating God, One does not have to enter into the round of birth and death.
2. By Remembering and meditating God, One will immune from the torture of death.
3. By Remembering and meditating God, death is eliminated.
4. By Remembering and meditating God, one’s enemies will keep away from him.
5. By Remembering and meditating God, one will be safe from all harm.
6. By Remembering and meditating God, one remains awake and alert, day and night.
7. By Remembering and meditating God, one will not affected by fear.
8. By Remembering and meditating God, one does not suffer sorrow.
9. By Remembering and meditating God, God is with him always.
10. By Remembering and meditating God, one will get all the treasure’s.
11. By Remembering and meditating God, one will enjoy wealth, miraculous spiritual powers and nine treasures.
12. By Remembering and meditating God, one will achieve the essence of wisdom.
13. By Remembering and meditating God, duality is removed.
14. By Remembering and meditating God, one soul is purified.
15. By Remembering and meditating God, one attain honor in the court of the Lord.
16. By Remembering and meditating God, one become honest and good.
17. By Remembering and meditating God, one flowers in fruition.
18. By Remembering and meditating God, one will achieve devotional workship.
